Shab e barat Holiday announced by Sindh Government

“In compatibility of the choice of the Directing Committee assembly all the open and private instructive educate under the regulatory control of College Instruction Office might stay closed on Monday (February 26, 2024) on account of Shab-e-Baraat (15th Shaban),” the notice issued by the Instruction Division.

During Shab-e-Barat, worshipers around the world gather in mosques to offer special prayers and pray through the night. The Holy Quran is recited till dawn and spiritual songs are sung during the night of Shab-e-Barat. Members of the Muslim community also follow the tradition of visiting the graves of their loved ones on that day to apologize to their deceased families.
